We know there’s a lot to think about when you’re researching the perfect wedding venue, and we’re more than happy to help answer any questions you may have. How much is the deposit?
We require a $1,000 deposit and a signed contract to book your wedding date.
What are the payment terms?
We offer either quarterly or monthly payments, with your first payment due 30 days after your booking deposit. Your final payment will be due 10 days prior to your wedding (after your final guest count has been submitted).
When is my final guest count due?
Your final guest count is due two weeks prior to your wedding.
Is there an event minimum?
Our event minimums are as follows:
Friday = 100 adults Saturday = 125 adults Sunday = 85 adults
Please note that minimums are subject to change, especially on holiday weekends.
How much is the service fee?
Our service fee is 20%.
Are there taxes?
The current tax rate in Franklin County, Ohio, is 7.5% (but not everything in the reception package is subject to sales tax).
What does it cost to rent the venue?
The venue rental is included in the Reception package price.
How many people can La Navona accommodate?
La Navona can accommodate seating for up to 250 guests.
How much does it cost to host my ceremony at La Navona?
We have three Ceremony packages for you to choose from: Silver, Gold & Diamond. Each include a different number of hours for venue rental and various accommodations in our Bridal Suites ahead of your Ceremony. Simply select the package that best fits your wedding vision!
How much time do I have for my ceremony?
Every Ceremony is different, but we budget for up to 30 minutes of Ceremony time. The Ceremony package you select will determine the amount of time you have access to the Venue ahead of your Ceremony.
Is there a rain plan?
Yes! We have a comprehensive rain plan built into our Ceremony packages.
How much time do I have for my reception?
Five hours of Reception time is included in the package price, typically starting with Cocktail Hour. Additional time can be added to the Reception for $1,000 per hour, including venue rental, extended DJ service, and Bar Service.
When does the reception end?
That’s up to you! Our liquor license allows us to keep the bar open until 1:00 am. (Our most popular end time is 11:00 pm or midnight).
Beer, wine, and a champagne toast are included… can I add liquor?
Absolutely! We have three different Liquor Packages for you to enhance your Open Bar offerings: Well, Call & Premium Liquor. You can also offer any of these tiers to your guests for card/cash purchase as well.
Can I bring my own alcohol?
No – our liquor license strictly forbids outside alcohol.
Can I bring my own food?
We do not allow outside food, as La Navona has an on-site catering kitchen, executive chef & talented culinary team. (However, you are able to bring in your own cake and/or desserts!)
Do you offer kids’ pricing?
Our kids’ pricing is available once you reach the minimum number of adults:
Ages 0-2: No charge
Kids’ Meals (Chicken Fingers and French Fries): $39.95 Underage Guests (Same Menu as Adults): $69.95
Do you offer gluten-free meals?
Yes! We offer individually prepared meals at no additional charge for guests with Celiac Disease and other dietary restrictions. (Our kitchen frequently works with products containing gluten and other allergens, though we take serious care to make sure no cross-contamination takes place).
Do you offer vendor meals?
Yes! It’s $39.95 per vendor, and they’ll get to enjoy the same meal as your guests. (You do not need to include our DJ in your headcount for any vendor meals.)
Is my DJ really included with the package?
Yes! Our DJ will meet with you approximately four to six weeks prior to your wedding, to put together a detailed and personalized plan for your reception. He’ll also provide you with a log-in and password for their online planning software, with access to more than 70,000 song titles, from the 1920s to today.
What if I want to use my own DJ?
You’re welcome to use your own DJ if you’d prefer, and La Navona will deduct $250 from the final balance. (However, please note that outside DJs are not permitted to plug into our state-of-the-art, venue-wide, surround-sound system.)
What about photo booths?
La Navona has an “open air photo booth” that you can rent for the duration of your reception for $399, which includes unlimited photo strips! (If you choose to bring in an outside photo booth, please note there’s a $100 outside-vendor fee.)
I’ll be so busy the day of the wedding… do I have to come in and set up?
No! Our professional coordinators will take care of all the details. You’ll simply schedule an appointment to drop off any décor the week of the wedding and go over everything with your coordinator. La Navona will handle the rest!
